A three days leadership training program was conducted at the MGS office, Rayagada, from 21 st to 23 rd September 2020 with 12 leaders of Pratibha (CBO) of Kuliguda village. MGS provided training on rationale, objectives, and steps of the Participatory human development process and on leadership – styles, and types, Qualities, attitudes, skills, roles of a leader and etc. Many workshops and roleplays were conducted during the training to upgrade the skills and knowledge of the community leaders to tackle their community issues and managing of their community-based projects.

All the participants actively participated in discussions and also shared their reflections on these three days of training. According to them: this is their first time training about their community development. Through leadership training, they improved their knowledge of how to tackle their community issues and strengthen their community-based organization.
All the Covid 19 safety guidelines were followed during the three days of long training.
